How To Use Instagram Reels [Complete Guide]
We all love to post about our daily life and interests on social media, especially on Instagram. However, due to some recent circumstances, India has banned some Chinese apps including TikTok (Thankfully). To fill the space for short videos, Instagram has launched its own short video feature in the app, called Instagram Reels. Using this new dazzling feature you can easily make short videos, use awesome filters, add stunning music, and post it on Instagram.

Complete Guide on How To Use Instagram Reels:
1. Basic info
Before getting into the process of making short videos using this new feature let us gather some important basic information about the feature.

Length: You can shoot a video that is a maximum of 15 seconds long.
Add: You can add music and filter in the video.
Where to share: Also, stories are not the only place where you can share this video. You can easily share the reels on Explore as well as on your feed with your followers.
After Brazil, Germany, and France, India is the fourth country where this feature has been launched.
For this new feature: Reels, Instagram has partnered with prominent music labels to provide a wide variety and collection of songs to users to create interesting Reels and share with everyone.
Also after you are finished recording your reel you can choose your audiences who can see this reel.
2. Record Your Reel
You can see reels option has been added to the Instagram camera among the three options in the bottom: “Live”, “Story” and “Reels”.
It is easy to use the feature.
1) Just open the Instagram app, slide to open the Instagram camera.
2) Choose the “Reels” option from the bottom of the screen.
3) Click on the button in the center to start recording.
3. Edit Your Reel
Just like TikTok, reels provide options like audio from Instagram Music library, speed, effects, and timer. You can find these options on the left side of the screen.
- Music:
Tap the first “music” icon to add music to your reel.
- Speed:
Select the second “ speed” icon to set the speed for your reel.
- Effects:
You can also add AR Effect to make your reel look super interesting and different from others. Tap the “smiley face with sparkles” to see effects. Choose the effect and tap on it to start recording.
- Timer:
Like TikTok, you can also set the timer to record any of your clips hands-free. Choose the fourth option which looks like a stopwatch to set the timer.
- Align:
After you have finished recording one part of the video you can align yourself for continuing the reel by tapping on the fifth icon “align”.
When you have finished recording you can either trim it or add music to it. These options are available at the bottom. When you are done click on the arrow in the white circle.
4. Share Your Reel
After you have recorded and edited your reel, review it and click on the white circle with the arrow in the bottom right. Choose where to share the reel and hit “Share’.
You can find other peoples reel in Explore. The reels will be displayed at the top.
